Lieutenant Ian Clark was killed during a cross border operation to Sajingan Besar * in Indonesia. He received a posthumous MiD for distinguished services in support of operations.
The operation, codenamed Lively Cricket,  was against Indonesian forces who had been mortaring the 42 Commando base at Kampung Biawak, in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Also killed in this operation

The AFM ROH have been provided with the details of his award. They have replied,“Many thanks for your emails regarding the missing awards for Bdr Tinnion, Lt Clark and Cpt Mackay. I have forwarded the details on to the MOD department who update the Roll of Honour website.  They will make the necessary adjustments which will then show online following the next update. The website is updated on a quarterly basis with the next one being due in January.  Please do contact me again if the amendments do not ‘go live’ at this time.
