Major General Roger Ephraums Royal Marines
Served with 42 Commando in Malaya in the 1950's and was later the Brigade Major, HQ 3 Commando Brigade RM in Sarawak. In 1969 he commanded 45 Commando RM *.

  • 18 February 1974 (Brigadier) appointed an Aide-de-Camp to The Queen [3].
  • 11 June 1977 (Major General) appointed C.B. [4].
  • 7 April 1978 (Major General) to retired list [5].
  • 1 January 1985 appointed Colonel Commandant Royal Marines [6].
  • 1985 appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Angus [7].
  • 1 January 1987 Major General R. J. Ephraums, C.B., O.B.E., D.L., appointed Representative Colonel Commandant, Royal Marines [8].
