Extract from the Globe and Laurel Sept - Oct. 1982 edition.
"Many of you who saw the excellent displays by Lynx helicopters of the Army Air Corps at their recent silver jubilee celebrations, may be surprised to learn that their leader is Capt. Rob Wilsey of 3 Commando Brigade Air Squadron, on exchange service with the Army Air Corps at Middle Wallop.
The son of Maj. Gen Pat Willasey·Wilsey, a former CO of 43 Commando and 3 Commando Brigade Commander, Rob joined the Corps in 1969 and qualified as a helicopter pilot in 1976. He said 'We chose the name 'SlIver Eagles' because it is the AAC's Silver Jubilee and the eagle is their Corps motif." He has over 2,300 flying hours to his credit and led the flypast over SS 'Canberra'."
