Extract from Commando Association newsletter 110
"For the last three years, our esteemed Chaplain, Bishop Maurice Wood, DSC MA., with the goodwill of the manager has entered his local Marks and Spencer store, wearing his Bishop's purple cassock and green Commando beret. As the store lights are dimmed at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, he has recited Binyon's memorable words. Everyone has stood still and there has been no sound at the tills or at the counters. "We will remember them" still touches all hearts at Remembrance time".
