Corporal John Freemantle was attached to HQ 3 Commando Bde. RM at the time of his death. The Brigade had been involved for several years in the campaign in Indonesia and Borneo. He was originally buried in Ulu Pandan Cemetery Singapore, later cremated, and his ashes returned to the UK.

Marine David Howard, from King's Lynn, died during Operation Musketeer, the Anglo-French Invasion of Port Said, Egypt.  

Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant Percy Howard died in service at Aqaba, Egypt. Buried at Fayid War Cemetery, Egypt, Section 13, Row B, Grave No.9. Husband of Margaret Geraldine Howard of Deal. Awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal at the end of January 1949.

Marine Josh Howell, aged 21, collapsed and died suddenly at his base at Taunton having recently returned from a 7 month tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Marine Iain Howse who was in the UK on a weeks leave from service in Iraq died in motorcycle accident on Whitepit Lane, Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire.
