The following contact list contains some of the more notable registered charities who are there to help those who are serving, or who have served. It is not our intention to list the many hundreds of groups registered as such. If you need, or know of anyone who may need, any support or advice, please do contact them. SSAFA The Armed Forces Charity offers help and support to all serving members and former members of all ranks of the Armed Forces, widows, and dependants. Where needed SSAFA will coordinate its response with other military charities. You can email them by clicking on the highlighted charity name. Army Benevolent Fund The Soldiers Charity providing support to soldiers and veterans from the British Army, and their immediate families, when they are in need. 
nb. The Commandos' Benevolent Fund has closed and it's funds are now managed by the Army Benevolent Fund above.
 
RMA - The Royal Marines Charity  Promoting esprit de corps and comradeship amongst all Royal Marines and their families, past and present. 
 
Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community - serving men and women, veterans, and their families
 
Veterans UK is the Government site providing information on support services available for Veterans and their families from lots of different organisations - all in one.
 
Combat Stress Working with Veterans of the British Armed Forces, and members of the Reserve Forces, providing free treatment and support. 24hr free helpline 0800 138 1619.
 
Royal Artillery Charitable Fund Helping all members of the Regimental family in need, whatever the cause, and at any time in their lives.
 
Royal Engineers Association Benevolence Aims to provide financial and other assistance to serving and former members of the Corps, their spouses, widows, widowers and dependants who are in need through poverty.
 
Royal Logistic Corps Association Benevolence Provides grants to individuals, for relief in need.
 
Burma Star Memorial Fund Dedicated to the benevolence, remembrance and legacy of those who served in the Allied Forces during the Burma Campaign of WWII.
 
Blesma Dedicated to enabling limbless veterans to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
 
Blind Veterans UK For vision impaired ex-Service men and women providing free, lifelong services and support to help them adjust to life with sight loss, irrespective of when or how it occurred.
 
Help for Heroes Delivering an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families. This includes their excellent sports recovery programme.
 
The Not Forgotten Association - A Tri-Service charity providing entertainment, leisure and recreation for the serving wounded, injured or sick and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.
 
Kartforce Getting injured troops into the exciting world of Motorsport through Karting.
