About the Commando Veterans Archive

The Commando Veterans Archive is owned, funded, and maintained by John Mewett and his son Dan. They are the son and grandson of Private Robert Mewett who served in No.12 and No.1 Commando. The content of the Commando Veterans Archive is managed and updated independently of any Association. All the content is entered and updated by Pete Rogers, the son of Lance Sergeant Joe Rogers MM who served in No.2 Commando.
The website is included in the British Library Website Archive with regular captures of all of its content being processed by the British Library for posterity. It's content is similarly included in regular captures for posterity by The Internet Archive.
