Bdr Brad Tinnion SAS
Bdr. Bradley Tinnion, formerly 29 Commando RA, was killed serving with the SAS having left the Commando in 1998.  He suffered fatal wounds when he was hit by machine gun fire as he helped rescue and evacuate six Army hostages out of the jungle in Sierra Leone. He received a posthumous MiD. [Award: London Gazettes Supp. 56168, page 4246.]



The AFM ROH have been provided with the details of his award. They have replied,“Many thanks for your emails regarding the missing awards for Bdr Tinnion, Lt Clark and Cpt Mackay. I have forwarded the details on to the MOD department who update the Roll of Honour website.  They will make the necessary adjustments which will then show online following the next update. The website is updated on a quarterly basis with the next one being due in January.  Please do contact me again if the amendments do not ‘go live’ at this time.
