Bombardier Bradley Tinnion, 22 Special Air Service Regiment, died of wounds when hit by machine gun fire during an operation to rescue and evacuate six Army hostages out of the jungle in Sierra Leone (Operation Barras).
Mentioned in Despatches (posthumous) in recognition of gallant and distinguished service. Former service included 29 Commando RA until 1998. 
Son of Charles Tinnion and Phyllis Collins​. Partner of Anna Homsi and father of their daughter Georgia born after his death.
