Cemetery/Memorial: 
Corporal Ronald Davies, 2 Troop, was accidentally killed from a rifle shot whilst instructing a Squad. Son of John Davies, and of Margaret Ellen Davies, of Ilfracombe, Devon; husband of Lilian Amy Davies, of St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex. His brother, Douglas James Davies, also died on service [1][2][3].
  • 11 September 1943 (Lance Corporal) (No.2 Commando) wounded during operations at Salerno, Italy [4].

Note
His brother, 3909503 Private Douglas James Davies, aged 22 and serving in the Welch Regiment, died on the 25th December 1943 and is buried at Ancona War Cemetery.
