Captain John Bonner 48RM Commando
Captain John Bonner was in the first batch of reinforcements joining 48RM Commando on the 9th June 1944. He was posted to 'A' Troop, later joining the HQ Troop, before finally becoming the Administration Officer of the Commando [1]. In June 1945 he was appointed M.B.E. (Military Division) [2].
 
The death of Capt. John W. Bonner MBE of Epping, Essex, was announced in Commando Association newsletter 108 issued March 1999.
