1 - 8 November 1942, Operation Torch - took part in the marking and guidance of American forces to the Algerian beaches.
20 November -10 December 1942 - demolition of a rail track and of electric cables, west of Savona, Italia.
3 - 4 August 1943, Operation Forfar Love - reconnaissance of the east pier of Dunkirk harbour.
February 1944, Operational Company Sergeant Major No.2 SBS.
May 1944, No.2 SBS divided into 3 Groups and sent to Ceylon - he is attached to “C” Group.
20 December 1944 , “C” Group deployed to the Arakan coast, south-west of Burma, for reconnaissance operations.
