Marine Roy Dewar from Rugby was seriously wounded 10/11 March 1945 when he stepped on a mine that blew his foot off during an assault on a German pillbox at Galathesche Sluis after crossing the River Maas to Overflakee (Operation Incalculable 11). Post war member of the Commando Association.
