Marine Norman Hopper died during a raid on the Island of Brac, Yugoslavia. Initially buried with others on Brac near Nerezische, their remains were later reinterred in a collective grave at Belgrade War Cemetery.
Those buried with him are Marines Pickering and Tarrant of 40RM Commando, and Marines Brookes, Cooper, Hurst, Ivens, and Williamson of 43RM Commando.
