Sergeant Leonard Eldridge, 2 troop, was reported missing 28 March 1942 after Operation Chariot at St Nazaire, later presumed killed in action. He had embarked for the raid on Motor Launch ML 447 and has no known grave. Son of Frederick and Lily May Eldridge; husband of Margaret Alice Eldridge, of Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
