Served in 1 Troop No.4 Commando. Active service included being amongst the commando replacements for casualties at Flushing after Operation Infatuate, and the subsequent advance on to Germany. Also served in No.3 Commando. Member of the Commando Association. Emigrated to Australia returning many years later.
