Bombardier Albert Hinde from Sheffield died as a result of an accident in Scotland. Son of Albert and Mabel Hinde of Burngreave, Sheffield.
Attested into the Royal Artillery 17 February 1930. Served in India and later at Dunkirk with the British expeditionary Force. After joining No.4 Commando he took part in the Lofoten Islands raid. Buried with military honours, Captain Porteous [more....] and others from his commando in attendance.
