Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)
Troop Sergeant Major Denis Fawcett served in 'Y' Troop.  A member of the Commando Association post war he organised many of his commando's reunions and in 1990 was appointed MBE (Civil Division) for services to 41Royal Marine Commando.
