Marine Byron Moses died during operations at Walcheren, Holland. Son of Spencer and Sarah Moses of 23 Nantymoel Row, Nantymoel. He was Marine Officer's Attendant (batman) to Captain Peter Haydon D.S.O. Both were killed in the same action.
