William Charles Henry Moore, an Artist from Pembrokeshire, enlsited into the Royal Marines on 4 September 1941. On 4 June 1944 Marine Moore, now serving in 43RM Commando, was captured during operations on Brac island in the former Yugoslavia (operation Flounced).
