Served in the Folbot Troop and No.1 Special Boat Section. Reported missing at sea later found to be a prisoner of war after a raid on shipping at Benghazi Harbour on 21 July 1941. Post war member of the Commando Association. Former goalkeeper for Queen's Park Rangers FC and Manchester United FC.
