TSM Harold Beggs served in No.12 Commando from 1940 until it was disbanded. He went onto serve with the 6th Airborne during the DDay landings at Normandy. Post war he ran a successful bakery business in Dunoon and was member of the Commando Association residing Strone, Argyll.
