Served in the Royal Marines 1943-1949 including Captain, HQ 3 Commando Brigade. 26 May 1949 commission terminated on appointment to the Royal Marine Forces Volunteer Reserve (R.M.F.V.R.). 1958 Major commanding R.M.F.V.R. Merseyside. Member of the Commando Association last known residing Lymington, Hants.
