28.12.1942 - 04.02.1943 posted Special Training Centre (STC) Lochailort.
July 1943 promoted Able Seaman (HMS Copra).
17.02.1944 - 08.04.1944 posted STC Lochailort, Temporary Acting Sub-Lieutenant.
09/04/44 - 05/05/44 HMS Dinosaur.
06/05/44 - 07/05/44 HMS St. Barbara.
08.05.1944 posted HMS Armadillo, a Combined Operations Camp at Loch Long, Glenfinart used as a training and administrative base by the Royal Naval Beach Commandos. 
Subsequently served HMS Westcliff (Landing craft base and holding base for Combined Operations personnel).
07.11.1945 released to shore.
