Notes His date of death 11/6/45 shown on the CWGC database conflicts with that of 11/4/45 shown on the No 3 Cdo War Diary, the Westminster Abbey Commando ROH, and in the No 3 Cdo ROH of Brig Durnford-Slater's book Commando - Memoirs of a Fighting Commando in WW2.
