Cemetery/Memorial: 
Lance Corporal Ernest King was reported missing 9 June 1941 during operations at Litani River, Syria, later confirmed killed in action. He has no known grave. Son of Norman T. and May King, of Surfleet, Lincolnshire.
Remembered with honour on the Alamein Memorial and on a memorial tablet on the North wall of St Laurence's Church, Surfleet*.
