Corporal Edward Jeffers died in the UK as result of an accident whilst serving with the Inns of Court Regiment, R.A.C. [1][2].
- July 1940 listed as Trooper attached to 2 Troop No.5 Commando on its formation [3].
- His brother C/SSX 25089 Able Seaman Thomas Jeffers, RN., HMS Grove, died in service aged 20 on 12 June 1942. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial [1].
