Lance Corporal Albert Skeates, 6 Troop, died at approximately 17:30 hrs., when hit by shrapnel from an exploding enemy shell whilst walking along the Dover-Deal road. Military funeral at St. James' Cemetery in Dover at 15:00 hrs.,on the 4th November. Husband of Mrs S. Skeates from Rochester.
