No 6 Independent Company
Private Donald Thomson died from a gunshot wound. Court of Enquiry returned a verdict of accidental death. Casualty List records his Unit as No.6 independent Company [see notes].

WILSON, Kenneth Charles

No 2 Commando
Private Kenneth Wilson died during a No 2 Commando training exercise. His death is recorded in an entry in the No 2 Commando War Diary for 3rd June 1942 "Exercise Doon - Dvr Wilson  killed at Irvine". An entry for the 6th June states " Military funeral in the afternoon"
