Marine Thomas Allen, Garrison Squadron, Commando Logistic Regiment RM, died as a result of a road traffic accident in Winchester.

Marine Nicholas Bailey who had served in the Falklands died from injuries received after a fellow Marine accidentally discharged a firearm when they were off duty at the friends house in Arbroath.

Bugler Paul Albert Thomas Baker aged 18, from Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, died whilst deployed to Aden. Husband of Mrs Priscilla Gwendoline Baker. 

Major Stephen Ballard, HQ 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, died of natural causes during operations in Iraq.

Corporal David Barnes died whilst serving at RM Deal. 

Marine Terence Barnett died as a result of an accident whilst deployed to Malaya.

Corporal James Browning, HQ 3 Commando Bde. RM,was reported missing presumed drowned, after the cessation of hostilities on the Falklands, when caught in a sudden squall whilst in a dinghy off Port Stanley. He had previously served in 45 Commando workshops.

Marine George Evans died in Malta. He had served in WW2 and in Malaya. An inquest on the 21st November found he had taken his own life in a blitzed building in Floriana.  

Corporal John Freemantle was attached to HQ 3 Commando Bde. RM at the time of his death. The Brigade had been involved for several years in the campaign in Indonesia and Borneo. He was originally buried in Ulu Pandan Cemetery Singapore, later cremated, and his ashes returned to the UK.

Corporal Robert Gardner was attached to HQ 3 Commando Bde. RM at the time of his death.

Marine Robert Griffin was killed during operations in the Falklands. He was attached to Task Force Landing Craft Squadron RM.

Captain Philip Guy, RM, died in a helicopter crash.

Marine Paul Jeremy Harries served in 3 Commando Brigade RM for 14 years from March 1968 until medically discharged in March 1982. His service was primarily with 42 Commando RM. Also served 40 Commando RM and 45 Commando RM. Succumbed to lung cancer November 2024.

Marine Jason Hylton was attached to 539 Assault Squadron RM, and was killed along with others in an attack on a Multi-National Forces boat patrol on the Shatt Al-Arab waterway.

Mentioned in Despatches in recognition of gallant and distinguished service with 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines in Malaya during the period 1st January to 30th June 1952.
