Sergeant Djupdræt, a Norwegian, was attached as a guide/scout to the No.2 Commando raiding party for Operation Musketoon. He evaded initial capture but was badly wounded by a German who bayoneted him in the stomach in Fykandalen, inside a cabin. He died of his wounds whilst a prisoner in hospital in Bodø on 24 September 1942, three days after the Musketoon Operation.
