Marine William Barrington died at 15 Casualty Clearing Station of wounds from mortar bomb splinters to his hand and leg, and gun shot wound to his head. At the time of his death his Commando were engaged in operations at Termoli. Husband of Winifred Elizabeth Barrington, of Wellington, Somerset.
