Walter Reeves, an Aircraft Engineer from Maidenhead, Berkshire, was attested into the Royal Artillery in 1938 and later attached to No.12 Commando after volunteering for the Commandos. Embarked HMS Campbeltown for Operation Chariot at St. Nazaire 28 March 1942. Wounded and a prisoner of war after the raid. Post war member of the Commando Association residing Barnstaple, Devon.
