Private Ronald Hack, 6 Troop, was reported missing 14 July 1943 during operations in Sicily at Agnone and the bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge), later found to have been captured and a prisoner of war.
Police Constable Ronald Roger Hack served at the Police Station in High Street, Kingswood, in 1939. He volunteered for the Commandos enlisting into the Armed Forces on 15 October 1942 joining the 3rd Police Intake to the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre) at Achnacarry. Post war member of the Commando Association residing Cromer, Norfolk.
