Lieutenant Jack Lee (born Raymond Jack William Couraud) was a French Liaison Officer attached to No.2 Commando specifically for Operation Chariot, the raid at St. Nazaire 28 March 1942. He embarked on Motor Launch ML 447. [1][1a]
  • Wounded during the raid and evacuated back to the UK [2].
  • 1 November 1943 (Temporary Captain) (General List attached 2nd SAS Regt.) wounded in Italy [3][4].
  • Awarded the Military Cross for gallant and distinguished service in Italy during operations with 2nd SAS Regt. AAC. [4][5]
