Lance Bombardier Harold Nettleton was reported missing 26 February 1943 during operations in North Africa, later presumed died of wounds. He has no known grave.  At the time of his death his Commando were engaged in the Battle for Steamroller Farm at El Arousa, Tunisia. He was attested into the Royal Artillery in 1936.
Son of Henry and Maud Nettleton, of Newcastle-on-Tyne; husband of Ruby Nettleton, of Spital Tongues, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
