Connor Clark from Norfolk was three weeks into a four-week recruit orientation phase (ROP) course that all marines undertake before they begin their initial training. His body was found by railway lines near CTCRM. At the Inquest in Exeter, Philip Spinney, Senior Coroner for Devon, Plymouth, and Torbay, said Recruit Clark had died from multiple severe injuries after being hit by a train and recorded a verdict that he took his own life.
