Gunner William Norman Pulsford was reported missing 14 July 1943 during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the the bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge), later found to be a prisoner of war. Post war member and treasurer of the Commando Association Scarborough branch from its formation in 1958 until the branch was wound up in 1972.
