Bletchley Park the Jewish Contribution

Authors: Michael A. Kushner and Martin Sugarman.
The importance of Bletchley Park during World War II and the breaking of Nazi codes is no longer a secret. The work of the codebreakers who played their part in the downfall of Adolf Hitler.
It can now be revealed that out of the 8000 personnel that worked at the Ultra secret Bletchley Park establishment in North Buckinghamshire 200 were in fact Jewish. Some brilliant academics. Others military personnel including many women of the Royal Naval service {WRENS).
After the war many of these Jews were involved in inventing the first programmable computers, brilliant champion chess players, and some played their part in the creation of the state of Israel.
This fascinating book which merges the history of Bletchley Park and the Jewish personnel is a fascinating record of the Jewish involvement to free Europe of the Nazi regime.
