Sergeant David Mackie died during operations at Agnone, Sicily, and the bridge at Malati (3 Commando Bridge). He had been with the commando since at least May 1942.
Son of David Arthur Goode Mackie and Gladys Eva Mackie, of Harrow, Middlesex.
