Warwick Steddy transferred to the 13th Bn., Royal Welch Fusiliers from the Royal Navy on the 25th August 1944. He later volunteered and was attached to No.6 Commando and posted to the Heavy Weapons Troop. Post war on 29 May 1946 he transferred to the Worcestershire Regiment. Member of the Commando Association residing in Hayes, Middlesex in 1960.
