Fusilier Victor Renshaw was wounded 26 February 1943 during operations in North Africa (Battle of Steamroller Farm). Discharged from military service 29 August 1945 final rank Corporal.
Victor Ernest Renshaw was a Metropolitan Police Constable in 1939, single, and residing at the Police Section House, Charing Cross, Westminster. After volunteering in 1942 he joined the 1st Police Intake at the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre), Achnacarry. Post war member of the Commando Association from Lawford, Essex.
