Thomas Haley, a Labourer from Newcastle-on-Tyne, enlisted into the Royal Marines 25 September 1939. Lance Corporal Haley, 40RM Commando, was captured and a prisoner of war 25 March 1945 near the River Senio, Italy (Ravenna).

Notes
Dulag 339 at Mantua was a transit camp in 1945 formerly known as Stalag 337. Situated on the outskirts of Mantua near the Lake Inferiore.
