Stanley Keveren was attested at Gloucester into the Coldstream Guards on 22 June 1942. Former occupation Plumber. He later volunteered for the Commandos and on 11 April 1945 was serving in 5 Troop No.3 Commando when wounded during operations at the River Aller. Post war on 1 December 1945 he transferred to the Army Air Corps.
