Private Ronald Rafferty, No.1 Commando, was wounded in August 1944 in the Far East. He was taken to No.9 (Br) C.C.S. At the end of September he is recorded as being scheduled to be returned to his unit [1].
16 February 1945 Private Rafferty, 10th Bn., Gloucestershire Regiment, died of wounds in Burma [2][3].
