Reginald Wall served in No.12 Commando until disbanded and then No.6 Commando.
  • 1939 Metropolitan Police Constable at Croydon Police Station.
  • 1942 volunteered for the Commandos as part of the Police Intakes to the Commando Depot (Commando Basic Training Centre), Achnacarry. Attached No.12 Commando which at that time was split for coastal raiding operations, half operating against the Norwegian Coast, the other half along the French Coast. No.12 Commando was disbanded in the the Autumn of 1943. He then joined No.6 Commando. Served in the Commandos for the remainder of the war, after which he re-joined the Police.
  • Member of the Commando Association.
