Lance Corporal Percy Taylor, 3 Special Service Bn., was reported missing on 2 June 1941 during operations at Crete, later found to be a prisoner of war.

Notes
He is shown on CasLists as 3 SS Bn., The Special Service Bn's. were a short lived unit designation.  3 SS Bn. was formed from Nos.4 and 7 Commando but they reverted back to their Commando designations during the period No.7 left for the Middle East as part of Layforce. Several of the Royal Warwickshires from No.4 Commando did also remain to become part of Layforce.
