Lance Corporal Norman Sullivan from Beulah Hill, South East London, was reported missing 2 June 1941 during operations on Crete, later found to have been taken prisoner the previous day. Enlisted 1 December 1939. Previously employed as a Clerk. Served in No.4 Commando before embarking for the Middle East with No.7 Commando as part of 'A' Bn., Layforce. Post war member of the Commando Association residing Newbury.
