Corporal Maurice Tennick served in Nos.12 and No.1 Commandos. He was promoted Corporal in No.1 Commando on 2 February 1944.
Maurice was a Police Officer who volunteered as part of the Police Intakes to the Commandos. In 1939 he was a Police Constable residing at 50 Falstaff Road, Tynemouth. Post war member of the Commando Association residing North Shields.
