Malcolm Thompson 1 Commando
Private Malcolm Thompson, 4 Troop, was from a family of nine brothers and five sisters residing in Lowestoft. Eight of the nine brothers served in WW2.
Malcolm served in the Tunisian Campaign and Burma with No.1 Commando and was a member of the original Commando Association after the war. 
His brother George was killed in action serving with the Suffolk Regiment.
